In that context, the artist agrees to give a percentage of the income of their revenue streams such as the merchandise sales, licensing and placement royalties, advertising revenue and publishing revenue. To be exact, 360 record deals allow companies’ to lay claim to any income stream of the artist and helps them in their development.
According to me, the 360 record deals are potentially worthwhile for the artists since the deal covers all their costs. In that, many of the costs required by an artist are covered by the label, and they may even book tours on their behalf which enables them to save on some costs. Moreover, the deal also allows someone to develop fully as an artist since he or she could keep working with you even if your first album is a failure when he or she sees potential in what you are doing. Having access to the best people in the industry can be a reality since the artist will be signed to a major label. The opportunity that is brought about by the best people in the industry is the access of experienced engineers, producers, musicians and a marketing powerhouse. To make 360 record deal relatable to all artists and the clear understanding of what the deal entails, J Cole signed in to a record deal with Jay-Z Roc Nation, and this is the reasons why (Nguyen Para. 3). The reason why he signed in to the record company is that to him; the 360 deal is involvement and agreement between an artist and a label in which the label funds the music promotion, creation, distribution and other aspects of the artist. Notably, he mentioned that labels that offer 360 deals do not shove artists out since their album did not sell; instead, they throw an artist on a tour for them to make money which renders a win-win situation to both parties (Nguyen Para. 3). In conclusion, a 360-degree record deal is good for the artists since it offers a lot to the artists. However, it is advisable for an artist to consult a lawyer for clear understanding before entering any deal.

I need to work a lot; that’s why I really didn’t have a single minute to focus on my thesis writing. These guys from AnyCustomWriting are real saviors. I don’t know how they knew what my professor expected to receive, but they definitely succeeded.
