7th Grade Experiences
As a 7th grader, I had both good as well as not so good experiences. Some of the good experiences include the fact that teachers were committed to helping us students learn new things. For instance, I learnt etiquette and how to interact with other people politely. I learned how I could communicate with both people who are older than me and those who are within my age brackets. I learnt not only how to help people but also to appreciate and share what I have with other people.
Also, I enjoyed being rewarded whenever I displayed an outstanding performance. This motivated me, and I began putting extra an effort into my school work so that I could be recognized and rewarded. Due to this, I found myself developing an interest in research work since I used to study for long hours. I significantly increased my knowledge a factor that made me more creative. During this period, I set my academic as well as professional goals. I aimed to score a good grade which will enable me to join a high performing high school. Thereafter, I wanted to join Cambridge University and pursue a degree in nursing and a Masters degree in the same. This made me conduct a lot of research in nursing since I knew in the future after my studies I will become a registered nurse.
When I was in the 7th grade, I had some not so good experiences. The main one was the fact that I was nervous to talk in public. I could not stand and present in front of my classmate.

I got a high stage fright which made me shake anytime I was supposed to stand and offer a speech. Additionally, I was not good in team working. Whenever I was included in a team, and we were supposed to handle a particular task together, I remained passive or contributed a very small amount. This affected my academic performance in a huge way.
