Question 1
In determining the sexual dysfunction of the men aged 35 to 60 in a community the most appropriate approach to use is the probability sampling and use of a focus group. In probability sampling, the selection of men in that age group will be done systematically. The approach is the best one since the sample is easy to select. The other benefit associated with the use of this approach in sampling for the men with dysfunction is that the sampling frame will be identified easily and the sample selected for the study will be evenly spread over the reference population. Mailing the surveys to the focus group will provide anonymity which is good (Edison, 2011).
Question 2
In determining if the patients are being greeted and serviced appropriately by billing and the admitting department at the primary care medical group will require the use of simple random sampling. Simple random sampling is a practical methodology, especially with a sizeable sampling frame. The medical group will need to take a random sample of the patients who will be attending the admitting and billing departments. The collecting of the sample can be done within a week or a month to ascertain the treatment they are receiving. All the numbers will be given equal probability hence making the estimates obtained easy to calculate. The use of one-on-one interviews will offer a great insight into the issue (Edison, 2011).
Question 3
This scenario will require the use of personal interviews and also stratified sampling.
