AMDM DB4The author concluded that there was a difference in the data of men and women after conducting a statistical test. Statistical testing is used to confirm that the provided data has statistical significance. In doing so, the researcher realizes whether he needs to retain the null hypothesis or to reject it. The decision will lead to the conclusion of the findings from the investigation.
The test revealed that the female population was statistically significant population. Therefore, the researcher arrived at his conclusion following the fact that the data was consistent with the significance. The author did not disregard the importance of the data. The author also ought to have explained the statistical method they applied in statistical testing. The author should have implemented a two-tailed indecent T-Test to illustrate the statistical significance to improve the research. Furthermore, the author should have used more sources to indicate previous findings on the same area of concern, which leads to the conclusion (Wang, Feng and Luo n.p).
The role of this assignment is to inform the learner the significance of statistical testing. For this case, the author would not arrive at any conclusion without having conducted statistical testing. It also indicates the application of the topic in the daily life. In this case, statistical significance is used to determine if there is indeed a difference in the gender population. The application of the topic is in the polling of a political contest.

The variables used are the gender of the participants, who are either male or female. On the other hand, statistical testing is used to identify the level of the statistical significance. It is that significance level that will enable the author take a position, guided by the hypothesis (Wang, Feng and Luo n.p).
