THE PROGRESS TOWARDS RACIAL EQUALITY
Racism in America usually has nothing to do with a person’s nationality or immigration status. It is solely based on appearance. The American culture has shown endlessly that the potential of a human being has nothing to do with the color of their skin. As a matter of fact, racism has its roots in every part of society. This kind of racism is called systematic racism. This kind of racism is the hardest to detect as it involves bias from people who might not even realize that they are racist.
Such kind of racism has affected the schools, political structures, corporate structures, court systems, and police departments. It has had consequences on people’s voting rights, education, treatment by law enforcement agencies and the court systems.
It is estimated that 90% of the national wealth is owned by whites, 2.6 % by the Latin American groups and 2.4 by black American families. Such a disparity in wealth allocation shows the rate of American racial bias. In terms of education, black children even in as far down as preschool have a 50% chance of being referred to law enforcement and suspension. After that, they have a 19% chance than their white counterparts. Other races constitute about 89% of the prison population. They also have a higher chance of getting convicted once arrested. Other racial factions in the US, other than whites, also have lower chances of getting mortgages and housing loans. They thus live in the worst neighborhoods and are the most likely to commit crimes because of their poor backgrounds.

Wait! American Racism paper is just an example!

There have been laws that have been, but the systems in place to support their enforcement are still far too weak. People should hence rise up and do something about the discrimination CITATION Ben17 l 1033 (Ben J Wilson).
