Definition of beauty:
Beauty is a word that represents the qualities that please the eye and the artistic part of the brain. These are the aspects of something or someone that makes it attractive to people. The characteristics here involve various things such as shape, arrangement, color among many others. There is no right or wrong about beauty. Everything in its entirety is beautiful, and no one should undermine that by proving a different opinion. From that, I can say that beauty is the perception of the mind that something is flawless and not corrupted in any sense.
Definition of repulsion:
The word repulsion illustrates a move in the opposite direction or going contrary to the accepted standards. Like beauty, there is no right or wrong about distaste. The term is independent and open for anyone to present his/her ideas about it (Seirer n.p). In my definition, repulsion is the condition that someone or something happens to be which is unpleasant or unattractive to the eye. However, everything has its positive and negative side. From that, repulsion exists as the other side of beauty. Something has to possess some aspects for it to withhold repulsion or be repulsive to the eye or the people who happen to see it.
Objects and adjectives that fit my definition of beauty
Some of the objects that withhold beauty include children from their innocence, people smiling, surprises, waking up to excellent weather outside and observing sunset.
Adjectives of beauty include appealing, cute, admirable, elegant, charming, gorgeous and pretty.
