Parts of the Brain and their Impact on Leadership
Introduction
The brain takes approximately 2% of the summed body weight which is a minute proportion. It acts as the central control unit for the body overseeing sensory and functional control CITATION Reg18 l 1033 (Bailey). Despite only weighing about 1.5 kg, the human brain has numerous nerve cells amounting to approximately 86 billion. The human brain is sub-divided into three parts, that is, the forebrain, the midbrain, and the hindbrain.
Fore Brain
The forebrain is the center of thought and monitors voluntary actions. It oversees the processing of vast sensory data from the tongue, ears, skin, eyes, and nose. The forebrain makes humans distinct from animals CITATION Reg18 l 1033 (Bailey).
Mid Brain
The midbrain links the forebrain to the hindbrain transmitting signals through the two parts CITATION Reg18 l 1033 (Bailey). It oversees temperature regulation, motor control, hearing, alertness, and vision.
Hind Brain
It monitors visceral functions, that is, sleeping, breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure. It houses the medulla oblongata and the cerebellum. The cerebellum ensures balance maintenance, information transfer, eye movement coordination and motor action adjustments CITATION Reg18 l 1033 (Bailey).
The parts of the brain responsible for leadership utilization are the working memory. It is at this part where idea and information comparison takes place (Caligiore and Daniele 215). Processing initiates on engagement with new encounters.

Wait! assignement 1 paper is just an example!

In management, when a manager sees something new, he or she begins to compare attributes of old against the new. It, in turn, activates the prefrontal cortex for enhanced decision making. He or she can, therefore, make decisions on the way forward for a project. The working memory coordinates its functions with the basal ganglia. Once a hard task is continuously repeated, it’s stored in the basal ganglia. Here, an individual voluntarily carries a repetitive task without realization (Caligiore and Daniele 220). Managers here will on gaining expertise can carry already known complex tasks relieving space for the working memory.
