Over the years, students with disabilities have been party to many disabilities that majorly come from the manner in which the society perceives their challenges. This has been also a challenge in their learning process whereby it has been perceived as hard to train children with disabilities (Norton & Bugaj 2010). However, with recent developments in technology, there has been a dynamic shift whereby there are numerous assistive technologies to help children with such disabilities learn effectively.
There are numerous qualifying factors that come into play when deciding whether to certify a trainer or a teacher as approved to provide learning through assistive technologies (Norton & Bugaj 2010). For starters, t instructor ought to have a high capacity to take care of students. They should be in a high capacity to communicate with the students effectively.
First of all, before an institution or a school certifies the use of assistive technology, it should have essential information on the challenges that students are having and then decide on the best technology to put into use (Norton & Bugaj 2010). Trial use in technology is important due to the fact that it provides the school with an opportunity to test for the best option by doing away with any forms of challenges that they may go through in the future. The main support needed is by the service providers whereby they walk the institution through every step to avoid any challenges.

In conclusion, assistive technology is paramount in the whole process of doing business in the world today. This is majorly due to the ease it brings in the learning process of individuals with disabilities. Institutions should perform a rigorous research on their need in comparison to the solutions available through the data they collect with their students.
