The Key co-tenants of the premises are Mc Donald’s, Play It Again Sports (they are not involved in basketball shoes), Fresh Market, Blockbuster Video, an 80,000-sq. ft. gym 3 restaurants and some youth-oriented businesses. Around the same area are Steinmart, Winn Dixie, 4 gas stations, Kmart, 4 banks and 5 additional restaurants. Approximately, 70,000 cars travel through the intersection per day.
Although our company may not be as big as Puma, Nike or Adidas we will put structures in place to ensure the kind of growth intended while starting the business is maintained.
On management Jade Foot Lockers Stores will be owned by Samuel Jade and Joyce Jade. Samuel will be the chief executive officer responsible for the day to activities of the company. Joyce will be the assistant manager responsible for the opening and closing of the stores and in charge of other employees, she will also be responsible for community relations. The company wishes to hire qualified, hardworking and honest persons. The persons should be customer centric and willing to aid in building a successful business for our stakeholders. In that case, the company will hire qualified and competent persons to occupy the following positions: Factory manager, Merchandize manager, Human Resource Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, Designers, customer care representatives and cashiers.

However, the firm will ensure high-quality shoes for the different social status classes.
Marketing strategyOver 26 million Americans play basketball (Jodie, Lederman, Gajderowicz, n.p). Out of these, a significant number is in Los Angeles. Prior to coming up with the business location in Los Angeles, feasibility tests were conducted to help us in penetrating the potential market and become the leading choice for consumers not only in Los Angeles but also the whole of the United States and the world at large. Good amount of information and data was utilized to aid in structuring our company and manage to attract as many customers as possible.
The firm will also embark on hiring experts in the basketball shoe industry who will help us in developing marketing strategy so as to be able to attract as many customers as possible. This will a go a long way in helping us achieve our business goal of capturing a bigger portion of the market not only in the Los Angeles city but also the whole of United States.
In order to continue to be in business and grow the firm will have to produce and sell shoes available in all our showrooms, thus the need to empower our sales and marketing team. The team will be required to devise and employ all strategies if need be to gain maximum results. These strategies should include the following: Sending introductory letters of our company to all stakeholders in Basketball, position banners at strategic points in the country, direct marketing and sales engagement, use the internet to promote our products, create awareness of our products in road shows, advertising through radio stations, TV stations and newspapers.
Recently, large sporting goods retailers have either reduced the number of their chain outlets or closed completely (“Share of the U.S. basketball shoe market in 2013, by company/brand”. n.p). This can be attributed to several factors, but the main reason is the lack of demand for highly priced basketball shoes.
Below are the sales revenue projections for Jade Foot Lockers Stores for the first 3 years based on the location of our store and such other as it relates to basketball shoe manufacturer start-ups in the United States: First fiscal year- $400,000, second fiscal year, $850,000, third fiscal year- $1.1 million. First of all, I want to say that these guys have pretty affordable prices. I asked them to write a compare-and-contrast essay and was really impressed with the final cost and, what is even more important, the level of quality.
