Case 15A
1.
Bringing change to The Crystal Company is a challenge that the management should be expecting and should be ready to solve. There are many reasons why people resist change (Rick, 1). In the case of The Crystal Company, the employees might resist change due to the fear of unknown. This is where they don’t understand what will be brought about by the change or even how they will be affected by that change. The other reason could be that the people are already in a comfort zone and are contented with the way things are done, therefore, are not ready to welcome any new ways of doing things as this might demand more from them. Another reason why they would resist change is due to lack of communication. If the management does not do enough pitching to their employees and clients on why the change is necessary, there is likely to be resistance to changing to the new product. Lack of enough consultation could also be another reason for resistance. If the people who are working for the company as well as those consuming the produced are not consulted enough before producing it, there is a high possibility that the people will not support it (Rick, 1).
2.
For the Crystal Company to have a positive and accepted change, they need to tackle the main reason why the change might be resisted. This will mean that the people should be consulted enough and have the people suggest what they will need to be catered for in the new project to reflect their needs.

Wait! Case 15 paper is just an example!

It is also important that the company does enough communication with those who are like to be affected by the change. This will eliminate problems like the fear of unknown and well as convincing the people the need for the change and how it will improve their results when it is successful (Rick, 1).
3.
Contrarily, instead of the company rewriting the new product and risk closure if the project is not successful, the company could still run the old product as they assess it. After enough analysis and doing the market research, the company can just develop another program as an upgraded version of the older one. This will ensure a smooth transition to the ones who are already using the product.
Case 15B
1.
Kathy Wilson’s made the decision to move without consulting her employees. Instead, she just made a communication to the employees. Would she have consulted, she would found out that most of her employees came from the nearby and were not willing to move to the plains. Her consultations would have opened her eyes and look for ways to sort out the problem. There was also a failure of enough research on the new place since she would have found out in advance that the new location did not have public transport and this ought to affect her employees who were using public transport or walking to their workplace. Kathy Wilson could have listened to the concerns of her employees and solve the problem together instead of imposing her decision on them to move to that particular place.
2.
To retain her employees, Kathy should have taken four major steps to ensure that her employees accept changes which are caring, control, choice and competence (McIntyre, 1). With enough consultation and communication, her employee would have felt that their boss cares about them and would have reciprocated by ensuring her changes are successful. Also having been consulted, they would have felt that their inputs were part of the change and they would have been ready to stay and see it through. The another point is that she should have given her employees to choose the new location for the company. Having involved with the choice of location would have ensured that the employees felt in control and would have chosen a location that they were comfortable with (McIntyre, 1).
3.
It was possible to avoid the resistance through enough research and through involving their employees before choosing their new location. Employees would have suggested a better location that would not have inconvenienced the regarding the communing and the environment that was more favorable to them. With the research they would have also found out that the new location was not accessible by public means and most of their employees do not own private automobiles.

I need to work a lot; that’s why I really didn’t have a single minute to focus on my thesis writing. These guys from AnyCustomWriting are real saviors. I don’t know how they knew what my professor expected to receive, but they definitely succeeded.
