Dignity of Work:
Question 1#
Work is essential in human lives since it allows them to have the provision of food and shelter. People work to; get an income, provide for families and those who depend on them, to achieve fulfilments as human beings, to improve their living conditions. The taxes people contribute help in building the nation and its citizens. Through work, we can take control of our lives. Work helps us develop God-given talents and gifts (Evans, 73).
Question 2#
In any organization or business, employees play a significant role in the success or failure of a company. The employees have a right to fair wages, collective bargaining and the right to appropriate employment (Evans, 79).
Question 3#
CST stands for the Catholic social teaching concerning work. Work is a way of continuing and participating in God’s creation. The rights of employees should be respected the same way the dignity of work is protected. The Catholic social teaching continually states that every human being has a right to employment. Through work, people can develop the gifts and talents given to them by God, and at the same time, they can serve others. Joining of the labor unions will help the employees bargain for their rights and good working conditions. (Evans, 85).
Question 4
A job is a piece of work which a person does to earn a living. A job can also be defined as work done regularly to earn an income.
A vocation is a piece of work which a person gets a deep fulfillment and satisfaction from.

This is a piece of work which a person is willing to give all his energy and time. People performing their vocation may be compensated, but they do not do the vocations mainly for money purposes (Foreman 73).
