Characteristics of Effective Customer Service
Customer service as a business component has been around for many years, and it influences how consumers respond to products or services that businesses offer. Unlike unsatisfied consumers, satisfied customers will always remain positive about products or services a business unless something undesirable gets on their way. Lately, many companies, such as Google, which offer products and services to wide range consumers have allowed other firms to run intrusive adverts on their platforms (Borges, 2009). These adverts not only turn clients off but also make develop a negative attitude towards services of a business.
Personally, I have hard feelings about direct-mail campaigns that jam my mail box with unsolicited texts and information about products or services. I find these adverts so invasive and intrusive that I delete or dismiss them almost immediately when I see them. Take, for example, unusually loud television commercials, or any other type of ad that surpasses its boundary to command the attention of consumers. These ads impede effective customer service because they are intrusive, offensive, and promote customer resistance by trying to divert their attention.
Effective customer service is characterized by zero customer disruption, unquestionable customer satisfaction, consultative selling, significant customer support and training, proactive problem solving, professional tone, and solid service procedures (Wellington, 2010).
Wait! Characteristics of Effective Customer Service paper is just an example!
Businesses hoping to benefit by maximizing their customer service must be keen to prioritize their buyers’ needs by avoiding being intrusive. Even if they have partnered with other advertising companies, businesses should employ tricks that allow them to get the attention of potential clienteles without making them feel affronted. Professional marketing agencies are good at this; they can build their enterprises around finding strategies to entice consumers without turning them off or making them feel negative about the customer service continuum. So, businesses that have difficulty marketing their products or services should consider hiring these experts to keep their customer service and marketing efforts live and effective.
