Child health issues are an area of concern in the process of early child development. Early age child development is the foundation of his or her future health progress. The health is either determined by the environment within which the child is living; poverty also affects the health of the child. This is because it is difficult for poor families to provide a conducive environment for child growth. The low-income families have poor hygiene standards, poor feeding, and limited access to appropriate medical care (Marmot, 2005).
In a poverty environment injury is the number one factor that threatens the health of children growing in such an environment. For example, in Canada children hospitalized with injuries mostly come from low economical families which is a higher percentage compared to those from well-abled families. Some injuries are serious and have resulted in death, the rate is estimated to be at 4.5%.
Poverty-environment like the low-income families increase the chances of getting injuries to children as a result of various factors like; with little resources the parents fail to practice, proper parenting and acquisition of education are negatively affected. When the adults in a family are stressed up, they expose their children to a high risk of injuries since the children have nobody to monitor them closely or supervise them as they play outside. House and buildings structures are also of poor standards which at times fall on children injuring them seriously (Marmot, 2005).

Wait! CHILDREN HEALTH paper is just an example!

Crime and violence are also common in poor neighborhoods’ hence that expose children to injuries risk. I recommend that a good and friendly environment should be created to enable child development healthily. Such an environment will also positively influence their future health and stable development. It should be noted that young children usually between the age of 5 to 14 years are very active, doing jumps and an ending games.
