Question 1
One of the leading causes of death in the Incas Empire was the spread of diseases brought by the Spaniards. When the Spaniards began entering Central America, they spread diseases, which further spread to South America, and the Inca were not spared. Diseases such as smallpox, measles, chicken pox and influenza were attacking the Incas. The immune system of most Incas was not strong enough to fight these diseases given the fact that they were not immunized (Winn 255). Many working classes in the Incas community weakened by these diseases hence the agricultural activities decreased, therefore, lowering food production. The deterioration of the general wellbeing of the Incas fueled the feud between Atahualpa and Huascar, which later led to civil war.
Question 2
Tupac Amaru was a member of the Inca royal family that was the last to rule the Incans. During the Spanish invasion, many of his family members including his Uncles Huascar and Atahualpa were killed. He rebelled against the Spanish invasion and declared war on the invaders. However, after few skirmished, the Spaniards captured Tupac and some of his top officials and were killed.
Question 3
Tupac Amaru along with a group of a hundred others headed west, and when they reached Inca Empire, he came forth with gold and Inca’s tableware. Alongside gold, he also presented silver and other precious jewels. The gold statue of Punchao was also delivered which was a symbolic representation of the Inca’s lineage as it contained the remains of the deceased Incas.

Execution
Tupac together with his generals were captured, where the generals were hanged, and Tupac beheaded. Before that, he witnessed the killing of his wife and kids and underwent intent religious training.
Question 4
Cumero is the name of a local male member in a community such Mayobamba. The Cumeros are charged with various responsibilities in the community such as cultivating communal land and completing public worked. In addition, they were also in charge of herding, caring and protecting the community and performing administrative duties for the community (Winn 281). As a reward for their responsibility for the community, Cumeros were allowed to grow subsistence crops and participate in the local democracy.
Question 5
The Inca religion revolved around the gods of nature, and the sun played an essential role in their religion. The Inca believed that they were children under the sun, to mean that they are under their god who was the sun. They performed rituals to honor and be close to the sun god, Inti. For instance, their religious leaders performed rituals during winter to keep the sun from disappearing. They linked their kings to the sun, in that they believed their kings could not die because they were related to the sun god. The Inca were close to the sun them being farmers they depended on the sun to help with their crops.
Question 6
One of the main reasons for building cities in the clouds was to enable the worship their gods that were linked to nature. These building would allow them to worship and perform rituals to sun god and god of the moon since they were close to the heavens (Absalutevalue 1). Nonetheless, these cities helped in food production in their terraces that fed the community. These cities would help with water supply since they could hardly rely on the rains for their agricultural development.
