Subject: Reschedule of the operational team
Our information and technology department has been experimenting with half-day Saturday work plan for the last ten months. Recently, our evaluation team has evaluated the benefits and how well the program suits our company.
Our customer care desk does not operate on weekends; hence, when customers call to order for supplies, they are automatically redirected to use the company’s portal. Most clients are able and willing to order through the portal; however, most of the time they lack internet access and hence prefer calling for assistance. The only other option that the clients may have is to wait until the operational hours on Monday to place their supplies order, and if it was emergency, they might choose other suppliers (BTEC First Business,2018). Also, customers with issues to be resolved such as wrong delivery, refund among other reasons must wait. Such reasons spearheaded the start of the program to meet the customer’s needs and satisfaction at all time.
Over the last months, we have received uncountable positive feedbacks from our esteemed customers concerning the extended days we operate on weekends. The management team has determined that to continue offering quality services to our clients, re-institute Saturday morning hours. However, such plans will not hinder or cut shot the employees scheduling bonuses.
Wait! Communicating Process Change paper is just an example!
Typically, the addition of Saturday as a work-day accord the management an opportunity and freedom to schedule employees.
Therefore, all staffs and employees will have a meeting on 4th January 2019. The meeting will aim to discuss the new scheduling plan. The management team key objective is to accommodate employees’ preference in the scheduling plan. Hence, it is imperative that every employee of the company attend the meeting for his or her voice to be considered.
