I am writing to request a letter of recommendation from your office. I was recently shortlisted for an interview for an internship program at a multinational organization. One of the key requirements for securing an internship position with the organization includes a recommendation letter from my graduate school department. The letter is required to serve as evidence that I am indeed a student in the institution as well as to verify the academic report I have submitted to the organization.
I am a third-year student in the institution’s Department of Communication Arts taking a course in public relations. I have completed all class and field work associated with the first, second, and third-year levels of my course. Following such progress, I decided to acquire practical skills by applying for an internship program.
During my time in the institution, I have had various roles and responsibilities that I believe worked to strengthen my knowledge and skills as a professional in the public relations setting. For instance, I have been part of the department student leadership specifically tasked with making sure that student concerns reach the department heads and that only the intended message is communicated. I have also participated in organizing learning forums for students in the department.

For one to be allowed to be part of the interviewees, their recommendation letters have to be sent to Global Communications Ltd before the 21st of October 2018. Since the organization has not specified an individual to whom the recommendations are to be addressed, they will be sent to the human resource department.
