Petroleum has contaminated the Asian, Chinese and Japanese significant fishing grounds. It is a phenomenon that draws the attention of the whole world because it is a bigger one that has never been experienced before. This petroleum is a by-product that contains toxicities as a result of the natural production of gas (Impact: Communication np). It is commonly known as the condensate. The condensate can only be evaporated into the air but cannot be left to get absorbed into the water body.

Wait! Communication research paper is just an example!

This is believed to be the only solution to the problem because if at all the by-product will be absorbed in the water; there will be a long-term state of toxicity. However, the condensate dissolves faster into water than the crude oil.
Reports from scientists trying to examine the scenario have it that this has been a mega oil spillage ever. The surrounding has been polluted and the most popular fishing grounds, for example, archipelago have not been left out. The Japanese fisheries are likely to encounter a serious problem as the toxins find their way to these places. Human beings are equally at risk of this exposure to this by-product. A warning has been sounded by the experts that people should not consume any fish from this contaminated water.
Response to the tragedy has been put forward by the affected nations. China, however, has a hard time to convince the public that its investigative process to monitor the calamity is not slow as thought to be, and there will be enough response within a short period (Impact: Communication np). The fish going to the markets need to be monitored to trace any contaminate fish products or those that have traces of condensate. The investigations done by Beijing officials on some fish samples taken within a certain range of some nautical miles of the sunken ship show there is contamination.
Findings
This incident is the biggest that has ever happened in the history of the affected fishing grounds. This will affect many people including the fish sellers and the consumers. This news article targets the governments of the affected nations and any other which may be in a way associated with the crisis in future. The market is also being targeted to pass across information that there could be contaminated fish being sold in the markets. Therefore, there is need to be keen on what to purchase and from where. People are warned that some of the fish may contain traces of the condensate and therefore harmful to consumers. The life of people and the general economy is at risk.
The fishing grounds that have been invaded by the condensate are so essential to the economy of these places (Impact: Communication np). Fishing as an industry for instance in Japan is one of the main economic activities contributing towards the development of the entire country. It is feared that if this situation prolongs, it means the quality of production will go low due to the oil spillage in the water. Efforts are being carried out tackle the problem. The condensate is being cleaned up, and the sunken wreck is being monitored because it is perceived to be leaking the condensate into the water.
Reflection on Analysis Process
The analysis of this newspaper article was based on the quantitative and qualitative principle. The choice of words, the content, and people targeted, and the language used takes up the form of qualitative analysis. All through the article when reading, key points about the content were noted and their meaning evaluated for a better understanding. Significant data were showing specific details of the phenomenon such as how many times the crisis has hit several places, the level of the damage caused by the incident and the number of people the fishing industry accommodates regarding employment.
For instance, there was a note of the frequency in the oil spills which covered 128 square miles. It was also mentioned that the coverage has increased with time. This helped in the analysis of the information where a clear picture of the current situation was portrayed hence an understanding that the crisis is a threat to the fishing grounds. The way the research of the content may either result in a different meaning away from the original idea; therefore, I decided to stick on the essential details in the analysis so that the main point is altered in any way.
