Today children are still employed for the same reasons in countries like India and many parts of Africa. Both child labor during the industrial revolution and child labor now affect the health of the children and prevent them from getting a formal education [5].
Explanation: This evidence shows that the exploitative thoughts of the child laborers of the industrial revolution still exist in the minds of today’s employers. People still prefer cheap labor that they can manipulate to work for extra hours without decent pay yet still toe the line without any revolt. Although the child labor of the industrial revolution led to the creation of rules to protect children from child labor today, certain parts of the world still practice child labor [5]. The act exposes children to hazardous conditions and denies them the opportunity to get an education.
