Comparison between Cinematic and Home Experience
To see the movie at the theatre or to watch it at home, the subjective age-old argument that has divided opinions right down the middle. Both mediums have valid supporting arguments for them, and the ultimate decision lies with the movie lover. Whether you like the invitingly dark, air-conditioned, eardrum popping surround sound of a movie theatre, or the cozy, familiar, private comfort of your living room, both experiences have their enjoyable benefits as well as shortcomings.
One of the most distinguishing factors is the cost implication. Undoubtedly, movie theatres charge higher fees for the perks that come with them. If you are a cost-driven individual, then it would make more sense to pay for a monthly subscription at home that would cost half as much as it would going to a theatre (Staskiewicz and Maerz 3). The snacks and drinks at home are also much cheaper in comparison. You will have to miss out on the floor-to-ceiling cinematic projection, the pleasure of experiencing the movie with a receptive audience, and the whole ethereal experience of being in a theatre.
Privacy also determines the choice that a movie lover makes. Theatres offer much less of this, with goers having to put up with chatty, texting, laugh-out-loud type of people. While some may enjoy the warmth of an engaged audience, others may find it annoying. Others may prefer watching their favorite movie in the comfort of their pajamas, which they would be uncomfortable doing out in a public theatre.

Wait! comparison paper paper is just an example!

A big attraction for theatre lovers is the ambiance, what with the dimmed lighting, penguin-friendly air conditioning, high definition sound, and picture quality, squeaky clean floors, and cozy reclining seats. However, similar ambiances can be replicated at home, with the help of a home theatre system and mood lighting.
Whichever the preferred choice, there are pros and cons to both mediums.
