Consequences of low self – esteem in children because of gender violence

The essay presented below speaks about one of the problems of greatest impact on society, gender violence and how this problem harms most children. Violence does not differentiate race, age or social status so I think that in a home that lives in a daily context of violence, where man or woman added each other in front of their children will turn the latter into victims of thisviolence. (Varea, 2006).

The impact that victims suffer from gender violence is devastating especially for children, these support these sufferings at a critical age for their full psychosocial and physical development (Janin, 2002). Therefore, according to Wolak, he affirms that one of the emotional problems in children is low self – esteem. It also develops in children;anguish, indecision, discouragement, shame and insecurity (Infant, 2018). Which leads the child not to have adequate social development.

Low child self – esteem due to gender violence has negative repercussions in all future areas of his life (Zamudio, 2014). As aggressiveness is cause. (Rodriguez, 2015)

These consequences according to the article of the University of Costa Rica can be very harmful leading to having eating disorders and suicide ideas. So I think that the most critical thing that the child can suffer is to drag these consequences to the adult stage and not have an adequate future (Rodriguez, 2015)

So in conclusion I consider that gender violence is a phenomenon that for centuries to cause damage until today, since people do not have knowledge both to be able to face these situations and to help.

Wait! Consequences Of Low Self – Esteem In Children Because Of Gender Violence paper is just an example!

So I think that society must raise awareness that there is no inequality between sexes and thus prevent the most harmed that children have devastating consequences for their growth.
