Topic 1

Topic 2
For an individual to start a restaurant business in the states, there are some permits and licenses that are required in place before the business starts running.
Wait! Course project paper is just an example!
Some of the licenses and permits that are required to start a restaurant business include; the business license (Norberg, 2016). The business license is provided by the city or by the state where an individual intends to run the business. It gives an authority to the restaurant owner to start and run his/her business in that geographical area. The other license that is given is the Employer Identification Number (EIN). The EIN proves and confirms to the federal government the legitimacy of becoming an employer in that particular area, and for that matter, the restaurant business is entitled to pay tax since the EIN also contain the tax identification number (Norberg, 2016). The management is also provided with the occupancy certificate. This certificate indicates that the building in which the restaurant business in started is safe and is allowed to contain employees as well as customers in it. This certificate is only offered by the local authority once they have confirmed that the building is safe for use.
The other license offered to the restaurant is the Food Service License. It is offered by the health department of the county government. It is given once the department has confirmed that the food storage, preparation, and safety meet the required laws and regulations of a restaurant (Norberg, 2016). The restaurant is also provided with the liquor license. The liquor license is provided to authorize the management to carry out the business of liquor in the restaurant by keeping the rules and regulations governing the liquor consumption in the state. The restaurant is also given with the music license to help in the environmental conservation. And finally the sign permit. This signature helps to draw the attention of the customers to the new restaurant.
Topic 3
When designing the restaurant, there are some of the things we need to put into consideration, for instance, the cost. The cost should be channeled to the most profiting factors. The other factor is the space. Space will determine the area allocation of different parts of the restaurant. The design of the restaurant will be as follow. The entrance will be situated such that it brings the good impression of the restaurant and should be inviting in nature. The inviting nature will make the restaurant get more customers (“Restaurant Layout and Design”, 2013). The restaurant will have the waiting room where the customers wait as they get cleared. The waiting room makes the customers feel comfortable. It will have a bar that offers full service to customers, and it will be located next to the dining room where the customers have their drinks. The restaurant will have an allocation of the kitchen where the meals are prepared to enhance service to the customers. All the kitchen equipment will be kept in the kitchen. There will also be a restroom fitted with beds and beddings for the customers (“Restaurant Layout and Design”, 2013). Each restroom will have a washroom in it to save the customer’s time in case of a call of nature. There will be a dining room fitted with tables and chairs. The dining room will be very spacious and well ventilated. And also there will be the employees’ room where they can dress and rest after the completion of the service late in the night. Finally, the restaurant will have an office of the manager who controls all the financial activities in the restaurant.
