1. Presenting problem: The case is about a 28 y/o African-American boy who comes to the food pantry to get food d/t lack of funds. He did graduate from high school.
2. List specific problems identified by the client: The boy lacks funds to feed himself due to the unemployment. The boy has been looking for the job but he has been unfortunate. The boys look desperate due to his condition. The boy is emaciated due to anger and has no hope of securing a job.
3. When the problem first occurred: The boy argues that he completed the high school but did not proceed to college due to the lack of funds. The boy decided to look for a job and collect money so that maybe after some couple of years he might join the college. The boy became hopeless when he was unable to secure a job and fulfill his dream.
4. The intensity of the problem: The boy needs assistance due to his condition. The boy has the vision of a boy. The boy is an orphan and the society is not ready to help the boy. Sometimes back, the narrated that he worked in the hotel but was not paid and he decided to quit the job.

5. Antecedents and consequences surrounding problem: the boy is in psychological trauma and so depressed due to his conditions. The boy needs a little of counseling besides being fed.
6. Client’s level of motivation: the boy is frustrated and needs assistance. The boy can prosper well if given the chance to get a job. The boy is willing to save and enroll in part-time college studies.
Summary Impression
The boy needs both psychological and material support for him to gain his health and look for a job. The psychological need will rehabilitate the boy and instill hope (Cherniss 2016). The boy is hopeless and the condition is worse since the boy lacks financial support from his relatives.
