Abstract
English as a language can be presented in different ways of understanding for example reading and writing. It is a common effect on most of the non – native English speaking languages to read and write English correctly without any mistakes. In writing, therefore, there is need of creating a writing plan that should often be used in literature. This paper thus discusses the importance of having a writing plan for students which they use in writing their papers in the English language. It also explains some of the challenges that the non-native English speakers might have on writing. The paper also describes some of the aspects of writing such as revisions which are explained to be important in correcting mistakes that might have been done during the writing process. The writing plan should, therefore, consider the revision process to be the last process of writing then submission of the scripts.
Writing plan
Comprehensive writing always entails many processes to come up with the final scripts. In academic papers, writing is one of the most endurable activities that is conducted in the learning institutions by students and even professors. In some cases, writing involves taking notes, doing assignments or writing reports. It is, therefore, so essential to consider writing a perfect paper that is characterized by high-quality contents and structures. For the writing in the institutions, there is, therefore, a need to have a writing plan that is comprehensive and will guide on the writing of compositions and the assignments.

A writing plan is a scheduled paper content that guides on how to write a particular paper following all the instructions and submitting a perfect work.
Students, therefore, adopt the writing plan in their writings which is drafted and followed appropriately. It is always initiated after prior readings of texts which for example are supposed to be written on. A writing plan, therefore, can only be implemented after gaining content of what is to be written on paper. In many occasions, a writing plan is always used to write on argumentative essays and analytically based on different texts.
There is also a concept of revision in the writing plan that is always considered a significant step in any writing. Revision, therefore, draws many advantages to the writers for example in correcting their work and making sure that their written materials come out correctly. It is mainly purposed for simple corrections by the writer himself before submission of the final paper. It can also be done in different stages such as the drafting stage and the final presentation. Students, therefore, adopt different habits of revision where one student can go over the work done spotting different mistakes based on spelling, sentence structures, and grammar among others (Chai, 2006).
Most of the non-native English speaking people, however, do have many problems in their writing as they are prone to making mistakes in their texts by referring to some of the sentences not following the correct order of English or sentence formations. It has been because English is not their mother tongue and they learn it as a second language. If so, then most of them could find it hard relating some of the important aspects and rules of proper English such as spelling is one of the major problems they face. This is enhanced by the poor pronunciation of words as they do not pronounce the English words correctly. It, therefore, affects their writing.
In this case, however, it could be imperative to consider having different witting plans for such people that will aid their writing and reading skills. It could be adaptable to them, and they will significantly improve their general English. Mother tongue effect, therefore, prevents excellent writing skills and result in many concerns of revision. Revision is, therefore, more important for a group of people who rely on mother tongue language which gives them an opportunity to correct their mistakes and put them correctly on paper. English is, therefore, one language that requires actual writings that can be coordinated by the use of writing plan and to ensure proper use of English in the papers done by students from different ethnic groups.
