Cybersecurity in America comparing the periods of Bush, Obama and now Trump
Research statement
Cybersecurity is one major component of security that should be considered in the United States to safeguard the databases and information of the government and other parastatals including individual citizens. There have been many cases reported over the past years during the era of George Bush, Obama, and Trump. This topic is important to be discussed as it is relevant to institutions and the government in reducing the cybercrime rates and threats that are numerous in the United States. There are many challenges that computer and cyber security pose in the United States which should be strategically considered and solved. The discussion is also relevant to the American citizens who need to have their information protected and high security of organizational databases including the government which has the high risk. It is therefore important to reduce the risk of cyber threats and the impacts of cyber hackers in the United States (Wang and Zhuo, 1352). There have been many cases in the united states that have revolved around cyber security where most of the high classified information is lost to people who are against the hosts. For example, there are criminals who target the government information to benefit themselves. In organizations, however, most of the information have lost security as they are being stolen by hackers or people who are against the information.

Cyber insecurity has also led to the increased theft of money from banks and other organizations bank accounts.
Research question
The research is based on a comprehensive research question which is, “what are the challenges facing cybersecurity in the United States?” The problem involves a speculative analysis which will aid in answering it after detailed research which will be done by different methods
Research methods
The questions straightforward and could be solved by researching on the measures taken by the government to curb cyber theft and insecurity and how the government helps in improving the cyber security in the country. It would also be answered by full determination of the importance of improving cybersecurity in the country. Some of the methods which will be used include qualitative research methods and quantitative research methods. Questionnaires will be issued to some of the victims of cybersecurity and also data which will be collected regarding cyber insecurity cases in the states.
