More often passion is aroused with leadership. The mere study and exercise of leadership arouse leadership since leadership puts to balance our values. In fact, the term leadership is value-laden. When leadership is called upon in politics or organizations, we call for something we prize. Great intellectual or technical capacity is not always required for effective leadership, what effective leadership requires is behaviors and attitudes that relate to humanity. It is vital to point out that leadership is not an opportunity of being served by others, but it is a role that offers the opportunity to give; to serve other people or an organization. In the film, Coach Carter displays an array of qualities and skills that help him become effective in leading.
Self Confidence
In the film, Coach Carter shows confidence and the ability to have believed in himself beside his team. Coach Carter trusted that right schooling for his players would leverage the talent of his basketball team to get scholarships to get to college. This, in turn, would give a chance for a better future for the team players. Coach Carter created a desire for his players; he shows them how they could be and how these desires can be achieved. During the first team meet-up, Coach Carter gives each player a contract; the contract sets out his expectations. The aim of Coach Carter is to pass on his passion for enabling them to be successful in both sports and in their education (Carter, 2005).

Torres (2017), describes adaptive leaders as those that, “anticipate change, prepare for it, and often make change happen in the direction they want to go.” These leaders adjust to “weak signals,” which, “operate similarly to the needle on a barometer, where movement indicates the impending change.” Moreover, leaders that are adaptive make the best at discovering nonconformist and revolutionize agents within their workplaces. The author points out that this kind of managers makes small gambles before going into big ones. This kind of leadership and management cuts across structural and cultural boundaries.
