The Murder of the Emmett Till
The Murder of the Emmett Till has portrayed some racism in the United States. As a young teenager, that factor that surrounds the ruling of the case of the Emmett Till digs out the rotten matters in the community. Emmett Till from Chicago and visiting a new place in the Mississippi shows the environment was a new place to him. The issue of the racism that had swallowed the entire place of Mississippi and leashing the African American made Emmett Till become a victim. He was brutally murder after he was suspected that Emmett Till was flirting with one of the white women (Jeffries, 114).
The murder of the Emmett Till marks the ill that has taken part of the community, especially in the Mississippi. There a need to enforce and amend the law that creates equality for all in the society regardless of the nationality of the individuals. The incident that faced Till murder on his tender age magnified the segregation based on race in the United States. There is need to address the matter to create cohesion and co-existence in the community for the safety of the other citizens for felt traumatized about the case. The take of the white on the black is inferiority. Most of them feel they own the law and any amendment they have made is not in favor of the African American. Racism played a role in the murder of the Emmett Till (Jeffries, 114).
The unfair trial and the murder of the Emmett has created an avenue of realizing the extent of the inequality that has been engrained in our society.
