Introduction

A few days ago, Undersecretary Hugo López-Gatell said that much of the deaths from COVID-19 are because the infected had conditions that made them vulnerable and this made the disease complicated and many, unfortunately, caused death. He informed that large amounts of junk food are consumed in Mexico;as well as products that contain immense amounts of sugar. He pointed out that this causes diseases such as obesity, diabetes and hypertension.

Given these statements, he pointed out that part of the fault is the companies that have sold products that do not provide nutrients and do cause damage to the health of Mexicans. These statements are true because before the arrival of COVID-19 the poor feeding of countries is evident, not only in Mexico. The rhythm of life that Mexicans have, which is not possible to sit at the table with the family to eat and much less spend time preparing food is a problem. 

In addition, there are places where the population cannot access certain foods;spaces where it is easier to get coca cola than water;coupled with our culture of consumption where we take every opportunity to "give us a pleasure". An initiative that the federal government had is to place labels in the products where the contents of each food are clear;In this way, consumers will know what they are buying and the consequences of abuse in the consumption of a certain product. 

For his part, England began with firm measures against junk food because Boris Johnson began the fight against obesity in the United Kingdom.

Through their social networks, specifically Twitter motivates people to fight obesity and place their life as an example. In this way it encourages their followers to improve their diet and get involved with exercise. In addition to this campaign, today they announced that the advertising of junk food can be televised only after 9 p.m.

Since he became ill and was transferred to an intensive care unit, he has dropped six kilograms. Without a doubt, it is a great advance in the fight against obesity.
