Are Genetically Modified Foods Safe?
The analytical report will focus on the topic regarding the safety of genetically modified foods. Since the discovery of the DNA and the advancement of genetic engineering, many scientists have resorted to altering the genetic structures of crops and animals to increase resistance to environmental factors such as diseases and weather. However, many individuals have raised public concerns about the safety of modified foods, and that has led to anxiety (Verma et al. 3). Therefore, the report will help to reveal facts about the impact of the genetic modification on human food.
I will start by browsing the internet and skimming through books related to the topic to find general information about the subject. The exercise will help to formulate an ideal thesis statement that will form the basis of the arguments. After developing the thesis statement, I will then proceed to make an outline for the research. The outline will act as the guideline of the subsequent draft used to plan for the essay. After that, I will revise the content of the first draft to create a more refined second draft. The points outlined in the final draft will aid in the formulation of the report.
The report will target the Food and Drug Administration agency of the USA. The body helps with controlling public health regarding food. The findings of the research will enable the agency to make the appropriate policies and changes. For example, in case the results show that the GMOs lead to serious health issues, the organization may institute regulations that prohibit the identified foods (Verma et al.

7). The research will also help inform other stakeholders such as the citizens on the issue.
