If I Could Live my Life All Over Again
If I could live my life all over again, I would not. Life experiences are meant to be once in a lifetime, and, why would I want to live my again if I have lived my life to the fullest? What I am trying to say is that the key to being happy is live our life to the fullest, and regardless of the people’s expectations. This does not mean that we have to disregard the advices, or have a “rebel” lifestyle. What it means is that by enjoying even the littlest of things, we will be able to truly say that we have lived. I understand that I am young, and I have many things to live, but in my 17 years of age I have done plenty things that I had never dreamed of. And those experiences will always stay with me. Besides, by living my 17 years all over again I would be denying my own progress, and I would stall my growing process. That is why we see many people desperately wanting to re-live their youth, and that sounds a little psychotic to me.
My youth is not running out, as many would think, it has only just begun. 17 and 18 years mark the start of many experiences to come and I am eager to experience them all. University, work, family, those are all experiences I would never be able to have if I keep reliving and reenacting my high school years. That is why, I consider that these years are golden, as they separate childhood from adulthood. And to cross that threshold is the only way to live a fulfilling and complete life.
