Introduction

I consider that the initial proposal to program in the curricula to work in a transversal way gender equality is correct and responds to the principles established in the LOMCE. The fact of not taking into account this aspect when programming the curriculum will not contribute to the improvement of the situation in the center, but the opposite will happen;The gap between gender equality and inequality will be more notable. From all areas it is necessary to work transversely gender equality through: dynamics, assemblies, activities and other proposals that allow students to sensitize with this issue.

We continue to observe in the classrooms sexist stereotypes in: games, clothing, toys or colors that are used when coloring;a situation that is lived in children’s classrooms daily and from an early age;That: A boy wearing a pink shirt, a girl play football, a boy goes to class with painted or disguised nails as a princess involves hard work if we want these situations to be normalized. That is why this principle is still essential to work transversely. In this case, the error is, possibly, in which the measures taken in the coexistence plan are not the most appropriate. 

They may not fit the reality and needs of the students of the center. Six courses without reviewing the coexistence plan is a long time and some of the measures are obsolete or stop responding efficiently and effectively to circumstances in which they were powerful before.

Society is exposed to continuous change, generations have different interests and motivations and it is necessary to respond to them when reviewing and updating the Coexistence Plan every year.
