While still very young, I had the opportunity to see a physician mend my friend’s knee, and I immediately understood that this was my call. Since then, I have worked intensively to ensure that I accomplish this dream. An admission to pursue a course that culminates in becoming a Physician Assistant was thus among the biggest milestones in my life. Financial capability, however, makes its hard to dedicate all my energy towards the course. Currently, I work approximately 20 hours per week while still maintaining a full-time class schedule. Having chosen my major this year, I desire to put in more time to my studies and research related to my course. This will enable me to utilize the immense wealth of resources available in the college to hone up skills to the level required for adequate competitiveness in serving patients in the future. I am writing to apply for a scholarship consideration whose financial assistance can help consolidate a segment of the time used at work to academic research and advancement.
I am an energetic, dynamic person with an ardent zeal for each endeavor that I partake in. In high school, I was the senior captain of my soccer team where I was a 4-year letter participant. In my freshman of high school, I participated in the National Honor Society activities being recognized for my outstanding character and competence in leadership skills. Since I enrolled in college, I have been actively involved in the soccer club.

I believe that a scholarship will help bolster up my academic performance in course work to the same professional quality I have achieved in other fields. Your consideration and assistance will, therefore, be highly regarded.
