Evidence Matters
The evidence is critical before making a major decision, in any given situation. In occupation, therapy, evidence-based practice has gained much appreciation and has enabled therapists to perform their work better. Hence evidence is necessary for making critical clinical decisions, as well as in prescriptions to the various patients (Eckert, 2016). With a much elaborate guide of research conducted by experts in the fields, the therapist can give a better prognosis, based on evidence-based research than by conducting experiments on their clients, could be aware of the situation or at times not even have a clue.
Qualitative, Quantitative and Systematic Reviews
To be able to collect evidence based evidence, specific methods of data collection are applied based on the nature of research. A quantitative review, for instance, arises from a critical analysis of any data that is numerical. While qualitative reviews are limited to qualitative methods; those that cannot be quantified, for instance, it could acquire information through interviews, field research, focus groups or content analysis. A systematic review, on the other hand, entails the use of precisely formulated questions that use organized and well-enhanced procedures to point out, then choose and appraise all the relevant research, and to also gather and analyze data from the included review. It could either be qualitative or quantitative in mature hence it’s more of an integration of both reviews which makes it more reliable.

Location of Evidence
The evidence is everywhere, but it depends on what kind of evidence you want. To locate relevant evidence for use in a study, however, there is need to assess it for relevance to the topic under research (Eckert, 2016). It should also be the correct piece of information, and finally, it should take up little time to locate. With the three attributes, one can easily acquire evidence at any point that it could be hidden.
