Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor
My letter is about deforestation of the most indigenous forests across the country. Everyone who is sound minded knows forests are water catchment areas and therefore need to be protected by all means. The high rate of deforestation taking place is so endangering to the humans and other animals. In my letter to the editor, I tried to present an emotional appeal that at least something is done about the issue urgently to save a life somewhere.
From the soundness, relevance sufficiency of my reasoning supporting my letter the audience will definitely be convinced by my argument. This is because of the strategic points I used to support my plea about the state of nature (Ferguson 1). The most compelling and convincing reasons included the use of photos of deforested areas, the deforestation practices going on, animal carcasses in drought-infested regions due to lack of water and logs being transported for various purposes by individuals. This is so touching. This compelling evidence supporting the argument will actually convince the audience.
Sometimes when doing a letter to you, it is usually tricky to substitute your reasoning as a writer with that of the audience so that you dance to the same tune. In my letter, I let my vivid explanations of the whole phenomenon speak for me. I tried to engage the audience in reasoning where I gave scenarios of what will happen if we plant more trees and what will befall the entire nature if deforestation keeps taking place at the same rate.
Wait! Extinction of Tigers paper is just an example!
With this, I was sure of appealing some sense of logic to my audience. Actually, the core point here is to how crucial it is to recede from cutting down trees (Ferguson 1).
