Participant 1: Argues that there will be detrimental effects to the repealing of the Affordable care act. According to the participant, the effect would be especially detrimental to Americans living with pre-existing conditions. This includes approximately 129 million (Americans Robertson, 2011). Before ACA, it was possible for insurance agencies to reject applicants with various pre-existing conditions. It is, therefore, essential to consider the impact of repealing the ACA so that the legislators can make an informed choice.
Participant 2: Although not objecting to the implementation of ACA, the continuator acknowledges that the policy has not solved some of the target challenges. A good example for this are the visits to the emergency room. Even after the implementation of ACA in 2015, the number of people visiting the ER has been going up (ER Visits Continue to Rise Since Implementation of Affordable Care Act.)
Participant 3: Discusses the benefits that are available for people under the affordable care act. This video is supposed to make it clear to people about the advantages associated with ACA. In this past, there is the explanation of cheaper insurance covers that are affordable to everyone. There is the insurance of individuals with pre-existing conditions and especially addicts. There is also the mention of the special groups that are taken care of by ACA. The example given includes the subsidy of 1332 that is given to Latinas in California (Lee, 2016).

If ACA is repealed, such individuals will lose their covers.
Participant 4: Describes the effect that the repeal would have on states. Most of the states have already implemented plans that will not be changed after the repeal. The states will, therefore, continue providing universal health coverage for their residents despite the repeal. However, federal funds for supporting the projects will diminish. This will result in sprained state budgets.
Participant 5: The participant notes that it is unlikely that Congress will be able to repeal ACA. The constitution comments that it has already been six years since implementation since its inception; there has always been an objection to the act but not sufficient will to repeal it. The contributor feels that any attempts will not bear fruits.
Personal Opinion: I believe the affordable care act should not be repealed. This policy allows many people who previously did not have insurances to access one. This is especially positive for those people who were barred from taking insurance due to preexisting conditions. It is important for everyone to be insured. Out of pocket expenditures on health are almost always unaffordable for low-income families. These are the same families that are unable to purchase individual plans into eh private marketplaces. ACA is more about the equality of people. It ensures that every American has a mode of catering for the medical bills. The people with pre-existing conditions require Medicare too. T is not right for companies to refuse to ensure people who are addicts and probably require treatment urgently. After all, the insurance companies do not reject people who are strong a less likely to get ill. To maintain a balance, the insurance companies must be willing to admit also people with preexisting conditions. Besides, I feel like repealing the ACA will affect those who are in poor regions more significantly. Repealing it will mean that the people purchase insurance from brokers. These brokers will now be available to increase their premiums as much as possible.
