Final essay of the Module Learning Theories

Introduction

The theories of learning that were presented to us in the following module, deal with the knowledge acquisition processes that have been had during this last century with enormous development due fundamentally to the advances of psychology and education what science has treatedto systematize with the mechanisms associated with the mental processes that make learning possible.

To talk about learning theories, we must focus on a need for all human beings, we needwas expanding and changing even the approach of in relation to human evolution that has been the starting point of all among them psychology and pedagogy.

Both theories have contributed to the scientific foundation of the learning of the human being and from this, greater diversity of theoretical approaches with respect to the learning processes from the moment of pregnancy onwards are built. This essay aims to reflect on the application of some of the theories that occur in teaching practice, considering some of them, which can describe us in the way that theorists believe that people acquire knowledge generating ideas, thoughtsthat exists in the subject and how he uses them to solve their problems.

Learning is an integrative function where the body is related to the psyche and the mind, so that the subject can appropriate reality in a particular way and also understand that each individual has their particular form of information processing, which not only dependsof the brain sphere but is rooted to the psychological and emotional what we usually call it affectivity.

Wait! Final Essay Of The Module Learning Theories paper is just an example!

From the description made in this essay in my teaching practice the theory of Carls Rogers, humanist and the socio-critical model of Paulo Freire. Both incorporated into the activities of our teaching performance and considering the second theory as an end of our superior house the National University 20th century, which is the training of organic professionals with the working class and other classes and nationalities exploited and oppressed and its historical projectof multicultural popular power.

DEVELOPING

To give way to the theories that will be taken into account in this essay we will make a brief description of them. Among one of the authors of this current we have Abraham Maslow in his work a theory about human motivation. But human behavior can be altered if different needs are not met. The lower the step to satisfy, the more it affects the behavior. These needs, in addition, can be met by means other than thought, or may happen that they are not fully satisfied because the mitigate arise new new ones.

To all this the author mentions that motivation is important and Maslow wrote in his work theory about human motivation, this issue is very important in education such as Jesús Guillen a Spanish neuroeducator mentions that in this new century theNeuroeducation, which has allowed us to know more this organ that is the brain and depending on the learning process, where studies were carried out and it is proven that when there is greater motivation the brain assimilates better and greater learning, thanks to neurotransmitters,That is why I consider that one of the theories that with its contribution should improve our teaching method, generating these spaces and learning opening.

He proclaimed the need to educate in a free and pragmatic way, with the function of a teacher who guides, who helps, provides conditions, who listens, who participates in the group as one more, providing his contributions and also learning from his students; But without imposing behaviors, which will be developed spontaneously, intuitively, respectful, affectionately and naturally towards improvement;because the potential will be expressed in spontaneous act, as it changes in the continuous becoming of its own existence and the environment.

Each subject will build their knowledge according to their maturity and personal development and that must respect, so the teaching must be personalized and based on the interests of the student, which will only learn what matters to him, which is significant and for him valuableWhat will discover without planning it, spontaneously, in his daily actions, and he himself will be responsible for his self-assessment.

That is why this author insists on the need to learn to think, because knowledge is already everywhere, sometimes with greater profusion in school itself.  In this regard, Arechavala, mentions that Rogers delineates objectives as far as school is concerned, as follows:

  • Encourage a co -participatory modality in the adoption of decisions in all aspects of learning, in which students, the teaching staff and the authorities investigate.
  • Help students value and acquire confidence and self – esteem.
  • Reveal the enthusiasm that produces all intellectual and emotional discovery, which arouses interest in permanent training in students.
  • Develop in teachers those attitudes that research has indicated as more effective in favoring learning.
  • Help teachers evolve as people and find full satisfaction in their interaction with students.
  • And even more depth, to contribute to being aware that, for all of us, good living is something inner and does not depend on external causes.
  • Try to create in class a climate of trust that allows to nurture and increase curiosity and natural desire to learn.

Another of the theories that are considered in this work is the ‘socio-critical’ theory is framed between the ‘political’ models. The ‘socio-critical’ approach receives the objection that it is not truly scientific knowledge, but a dialectical way of preaching the change and alteration of the existing social order, depending on ’emancipation criteria’ and awareness.

Paulo Freire’s critical pedagogy is a teaching proposal that tries to help students question and challenge the domination and beliefs and practices that generate it. In other words, it is a theory and practice (praxis) in which students reach a critical awareness. In this way and having considered these two authors, it will be taken into account in the development of the topic to be described.

The education science career is where I fulfill my teaching functions, the mission of this is: to train comprehensive and organic professionals, in correspondence of the progress of educational science and technology, with local, universal and ideological values based on the integration ofTheory and practice based on academics, extension and research, in the political and the cultural oriented to the process of educational and socio-community-productive transformation.

This is a pyramidal career within the participation technician has the same requires that students have an empathetic and human quality especially to those under 0-6 years of age. For this, the prenatal stimulation subject will be taken, which aims;Recognize the importance of mother’s education and training so that she can support the future to be in the cognitive, auditory, communicative, affective, motor part with different techniques that allow the new being to develop new capacities to face the outside world.

The first thematic units are developed theoretically, this being the basis for the acquisition of their knowledge and more later to move on to the second phase that will be the fusion of the theory plus the practice plus the practice plus the practice. In this process it is about helping students to value themselves and acquire confidence and self – esteem is important for the development of the class, they are given the opening that they can generate from their learning the concepts they have to know in each activity.

In addition, reveal the enthusiasm that produces all intellectual and emotional discovery, which arouses interest in permanent training in students;Since it is manifested that when they want to learn by heart they forget and paralyze and there is no advance, then they are asked to explain the concept with their own words the best they can not to demotivate their learning process and acquire confidence as Rogers mentions.

We know that prenatal stimulation consists of various techniques and exercises with which the development of the fetus brain can be worked, since it has been observed that neuronal connections increase. This is its main objective, but with these actions the physical, emotional and social development of the baby is also achieved, as well as the affective link with the parents through different techniques, visual, auditory, tactile, vestibular, affective and communication. It is for this reason that the ladies must be very careful in the development of the activities they do for this reason is done as follows:

1º Theoretically describes, emphasizing the objective of the activities and also a demonstrative class is made by me and then they practice this activity among them guided in this process step by step until the objective in each of them is achieved; Each activity can take two or more sessions depending on the learning process that they acquire through the experiential experience they do in classes. Once the student was able to achieve this learning, it goes to the second stage, which consists of performing a full session of prenatal stimulation to a pregnant woman who consists of twelve activities.

To conclude for the final evaluation, we change to a socio-critical approach, since within the UNSXX regulations, we have a locker that is called extension, it mentions that our students are with organic training with a social commitment, the same sameIt leads to activities linked to practice with social groups, the institution has a space called Plvular Cabinet that is carried out in the race, each lady must perform prenatal stimulation with pregnant women who require it to favor the development of the child andstrengthen the mother’s affective link and her environment.

conclusion.

There are many learning theories that exist and each of them analyzes from a particular perspective this process, in most life situations, learning does not constitute a big problem, people learn from experience, without worryingof the nature of the learning process.

These theories besides that they allow us to know human behavior and try to explain how the individual has access to knowledge; From learning theories is to study the acquisition of skills and skills, in reasoning and in the acquisition of concepts, in addition to these learning theories have had a great boom during the latter century, giving new theories according to sciencecalled neurosciences this due to the advances of technology that have tried to systematize the mechanisms associated with the mental processes that make learning possible.

From the acquisition of knowledge of this module that allowed us to know the most important theories what professional psychologists have developed in order to have firm bases of scientific psychology that allow them to make decisions and be more likely to produce efficient results in the classroomAnd with whom we share the same. Learning theories are a source of strategies, tactics and verified instruction techniques. These theories offer the basis for the selection of an intelligent and reasoned strategy, that is, when and why each one is used.

Therefore, it is worth mentioning that each theory, each author, considers learning differently and explains it with concepts, for some will be a different or behavior change of behavior; For another it will be a new way of adapting;Others, in short, explain it as a personal, internal experience. Actually human beings are constantly learning, in different ways, occupying various strategies to achieve learning. The fact that this happens is the product of certain external conditions and characteristics of each human being.

For all the above one of the theories I like to work with is the humanist, I consider that beyond building radical and cold mental schemes of this new era where people are more isolated from each other by the technological barriers than ofSomehow benefit but also generates that isolation, we begin by saying that in the learning process an important emotional role plays an important role, opened a vacuum. From the conception of humanists, students are intended to form as people who promote the realization of other human beings. The formation of an integral man is intended, to think, feel and have will.
