FUTURE OF POLICING PROPOSAL

Abstract
The future of policing will be entirely different than what it used to be back in the days. The nature of policing has been embedded with primary changes to its core functionality. These very changes have been observed to come into being because of the rise in technology discovery and inventions in the world today and also through the formulation of effective measures to counter-attack crime (Gregory, Wollman, Wilk & Lai, 2011). The changes are noticed due to the various trends that are being observed. The trends in focus will be the “Drone technology” and “aerial surveillance” and the “Biometrics GPS tracking” consisting of devices in “geo-tracking” and “metadata.” The pros and cons of these trends will also be discussed in detail concerning their implementation process and also the nature in which agencies apply these trends into their policing system. These changes will bring a difference in the way crime is handled in the society. They will also cut down on the amount of manual work being performed by the police in their day-to-day activities.

The society is changing from day to day. Crimes committed in the modern world are different from those committed some years back. Additionally, the way in which crimes are performed has drastically changed compared with past events. For instance, terrorism was initially thought to be identifiable from the use of weapons of mass destruction. However, changes have occurred, in that, terrorist acts can be committed without the terrorists being in the targeted area.

Wait! Future of Policing Proposal paper is just an example!

As stated earlier policing, has had some alterations with time. The system has changed from the rigidity it had from generation to generation. History tells of time in which the police force only consisted of male personnel; women were not considered to be capable of being in the force. As time passed, women became more involved in law enforcement.
Just as this change occurred, various others also came into play. The methods of combating crime developed from miniature to more sophisticated versions. The manner, in which investigations were done, also changed over time.
Any current police officer asked about any changes that may occur in the future when it comes to policing may claim that there will be no changes at all. The fact of the matter, however, is that the future of policing is one which will be characterized by numerous forms of changes, many of which will be along the lines of the way the various forms of operations are carried out. These changes have also helped eased the difficulties being experienced in the prisons (Barlett, 2009).
There exist some trends today that evidence the future of policing. For instance, the drone and aerial surveillance technology is a trend that is gradually being integrated into policing this was made possible by the formulation of the “FAA Modernization & Reform Act ” in the year 2012 (McNeal, 2014). Drones are now used to track criminals and crime, stop as well as deter them. The system has been useful in decongesting prisons and simplifying the work of the parole officers.
Such trends have proven to have disadvantages, but the fact remains that with certain modification to the laws and the mechanisms of the trends, they will gradually improve policing in the future.

Thank you for your services, they are really helpful! I was ready to give up my term paper because I just haven’t any idea what to write about. I’ve found a couple of ideas here and finished my piece without hurdles.
