Hey Marshal, excellent post. I reside in the Hawaiian Islands. I hope to visit Texas soon as I have never been there. From your post details, I did a little research about the differences between Hawaii and Texas. Regarding climate, it is true as you stated that both states have different climatic conditions. Hawaii has a tropical weather climate compared to Texas sub-tropical weather conditions (US Department of Commerce). More so, Hawaii average temperature is lower at 250C-320C than that in Texas of 340C-360C rage. Another essential comparison is that Hawaii exhibits humid temperatures compared to Texas arid and region-based humid conditions (Nielsen-Gammon 40). Size is also a significant comparison. Texas compared to Hawaii has a larger total area of approximately 695622 km2 compared to Hawaii 28311 km2.
