Getty Museum
Getty Museum is located in Los Angelis. It houses the Getty Centre and the Getty Villa. Getty Villa collects educational and cultural arts of ancient Greece and Rome.
At the Getty Center, the three faiths; Qu’ran, Torah, and Bible are artistically put representing Islam, Judaism, and Christianity respectively. All middle age manuscripts are recorded here artistically. Another exhibition is from Versailles where the treasure of the Queen of French called Marie – Antoinette is placed in the form of a hen. Her collection was the best lacquer boxes in Europe which she cherished the most. This collection reveals the excellent Japanese artistic work in the 17th and 18th century.
Another artistic feature is the funerary vessel which demonstrates what happens after life. It was collected from South Italy dating back to 360-340BC. It was found in 1847 in Altamura, Italy and it gives an imagination of how life will be when someone dies. It gives a highlight of how people are working towards having a happy and a blessed life after death.
There is also the renaissance nude which was donated by the anonymous person. It is the art of a lady who holds a baby with one of her breasts uncovered and surrounded by four nude children. It was created to show the human body in its sensual and vibrant representations. This sculpture dates back to 1452-1455 and shows the emergence of the nude which gradually formed over one hundred and thirty years in Italy.

The fact that Getty center shows sculptures, photography, drawings, paintings, and decorative arts from European origin collected globally is a feature to be admired. It cuts across international borders.
