Grendel
Being brought up in seclusion when Grendel gets exposed to humankind, at first, he is impressed and curious to learn more. As he confronts and interacts with people, he sees them as sensitive yet nasty creatures.
Grendel’s perspective on men
Human beings seemed to be brutal and always driven by some selfish agendas. Even as Grendel turns into being a thirst monster for the human flesh, he believes that they (humankind) deserve the hostility. Despite the hatred that Grendel shows towards humanity, he is amused by how creative the human mind can be. People are depicted not as creative but also ambitious. The monster is impressed by the lyrics in Shaper’s song; this is to imply that he ought to have admired being a human due to their accomplishments. Another characteristic that Grendel sees in men is brutality especially when it comes to power and dominance.
Shaper and Grendel
Shaper was a poet whose job was mainly praising Danish heroes and kings (Gardner 48). Only a small share of this poet’s songs was factual, but the rest was an illusion of an entirely ethical world. Shaper not only hides the ancient history of Danes but he also creates a false one. The poet’s version of history is very different from Grendel’s. Perhaps Shaper believed by altering the past it would make people forget and emulate with the new narrations. Grendel had seen the Danes kingdom develop and understood all about its savagery and cruelty. Grendel acknowledges Shaper’s ability to envision a better world, and it makes him feel guilty for his hatred.

Wait! Grendel paper is just an example!

Initially, the monster only felt hatred towards humanity, but now he was confused with what he felt.
In conclusion, it is evident that it is tough for history to be told or passed without bias; this is because people will always tend to omit anything that does not favor them. It is also possible for false or inaccurate information to be included.
