Some of the reform initiatives that can be put in place to improve the patients’ satisfaction while minimizing the cost include the implementation of the coverage expansions as well as the delivery system changes all at the same time. When the expansion of the health coverage is applied, the underuse of the health facilities will end, and there will be a high amount of cash flow into the healthcare. The application of the new delivery system also gives the healthcare the opportunity to rectify their past mistakes (Brennan & Cafarella, 2009). Secondly, the creation of an intervention to ensure that the healthcare only deals with the specific population of people who have relatively similar problems will minimize the cost as well as time. This intervention will give the nurses the opportunity to tackle the patients with a lot of ease since they have similar problems. And also the fact the patient has same problem, the nurses offer a quality of the service to them within a very short time. The similarity and familiarity to the problem make it easy for the nurses to utilize the available resources without wastes being experienced hence quality service is realized (Brennan & Cafarella, 2009). On the contrary, the broader branches lead to delay as the nurses carry out consultation concerning a given problem to be handled. On the other hand, the quality of service can be evident if the effective reforms are put in place where there are integrity and accountability on both sides of the patients and the providers of the medication.

Wait! Health Insurance and Quality paper is just an example!

For instance, the provision of new drugs at appropriate dosage will only be effective if the patient follows the instructions to the latter but if not then the quality of the reforms will not be realized.
According to the acceptance of the Medicare or Medicaid as the best potential pay sources for healthcare, it does have some of the benefits that it offers to the general public. The Medicaid takes care of the health of the vulnerable elderly people in the country, and for that matter, it saves lives of many. Even though there can be a delay in the payment of the bills by the Medicaid, it is a sure way to be used since most of its support comes from the government and in one way or the other, the government budget for the costs that should be spend by all the sectors at the beginning of every financial year (Young & Olsen, 2010). The Medicaid also pays their funds to the hospitals slightly in excess and therefore they help the hospitals and healthcare during financial crises. The assistance that is offered by the Medicaid to the sick has a lot of generosity and empathy to the elderly who lives below the poverty level in the United States. The other reason why I prefer the Medicaid services is that of the financial obligation that it has for the beneficiaries who used their insurance coverage. Similarly, the supplementary insurance cover for the Medicare has advanced coverage on the care provided by the physicians as well as the other relevant ambulatory services such as the visiting of the patients in the sickbeds at their home places (Young & Olsen, 2010). The insurance coverage provided by the Medicaid is also depended on the social class of the individual. For instance, the less fortunate pay low for their insurance cover since some of their payments are subsidized by the Medicare while the middle-class level is paying the premium cover so that the excess cash collected is used in the to pay for the part A cover or the less fortunate individuals.
