RE: Hospital Volunteering
The notion behind writing this application is to apply for a position of Hospital Volunteer at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). The motive is driven by the enthusiasm to serve patients using my compassionate nature and personal care abilities. I would like to bring positive change in the lives of patients at the hospital while organizing clinical tasks effectively.
I have an explicit understanding of patients’ needs since I have priory volunteered as an adults’ English teacher. Furthermore, I would like to put into practice my quest for paying attention to detail and handling sensitive medical cases. I am an avid learner who pays close attention to all elements of inside a hospital including direct patient care, providing moral support, and disposal of hazardous substances.
In the future, I want to enroll in an MDPHD program and specialize in stomach cancer. Therefore, volunteering at MSK will assist in fulfilling my dream, and also develop my bedside manner. I am a competent team player, patient, and caring individual who enjoys meeting new people and interacting with them.
