How we define the story

For man, history is one of the most important and relevant social sciences since through it it is possible to prevent or avoid acatrastofes, as well as knowing about our past, understanding the present and being able to prepare for the future. Nowadays with the coronavirus pandemic, it is essential to use the story in our favor and see it as another tool to face the virus.

In the world, various pandemics or epidemics have occurred during the years of which we could learn and apply some measures to the present. An example is the "black plague" that occurred from 1347 to 1351 and is considered the pandemic with more deaths, where through black rats caused approximately the death of 30% of the European population. Or the "smallpox" that occurred in 1520 causing 56 million deaths in the American continent, and is considered the second largest pandemic in history, it is estimated that it caused the death of up to 90% of the American native population.

These are some of the phenomena that have been prepared for societies to combat pandemics and increasingly counteract the number of deaths. Without clutch, with COVID-19, I think we still do not learn and continue making great mistakes that could have prevented the death of many.

Speaking specifically of Mexico, in my opinion the measures were taken too late, the vast majority of hospitals are not trained to address so many cases, there is no suitable material to protect nurses and doctors who are in contact with the 24 -hour virus , etc.

Wait! How We Define The Story paper is just an example!

This, like everything, will unfortunately bring strong negative consequences but I want to believe that this event will somehow help us later, if we go back to a similar situation, both the Government and society take greater awareness and act in form and time.

You have to learn from past mistakes and link what is happening today with previous catastrophes and abide.

Another important point in history is the evolution of social processes, that is, the behavior of the masses before their historical context. As it is that little by little the way of thinking, acting, speaking, facing a situation is evolving, so it is logical that current society behavior is not the same as that of 30 years ago, or 10 years or up to 100 years.

In conclusion, history is a very important resource to combat situations such as coronavirus pandemic. Understanding the reason for things gives us power to act in the best way, as well as analyzing past events and applying solutions to the present and the future is the smartest strategy we can do right now.
