Nutrition Documentary Analysis
It is clear that the amount of sugar that each person consumes is way above the required mark. This can be attested by the ever-growing prevalence of obesity, hypertensive cases, heart disease, and diabetes among the American populace. While Dr. Lustig proposes that people should reduce their sugar consumption to about 150 calories among men and 100 calories among women (steinway135). As drastic as it sounds, this may then reduce the rates of plaque formation (LDL-Low Density Lipoproteins), which are associated with the problem of increased prevalence of lifestyle disease.
While it is easy to point fingers at the sugar industry, a government crackdown would only provide a partial solution. It would be like wrongly vilifying one food and leaving the other sweeteners in the consumers’ diet ADDIN CSL_CITATION { “citationItems” : [ { “id” : “ITEM-1”, “itemData” : { “DOI” : “10.1038/482027a”, “ISBN” : “0028-0836”, “ISSN” : “00280836”, “PMID” : “22297952”, “abstract” : “u25cf Sugar consumption is linked to a rise in non-communicable disease u25cf Sugaru2019s effects on the body can be similar to those of alcohol u25cf Regulation could include tax, limiting sales during school hours and placing age limits on purchase.”, “author” : [ { “dropping-particle” : “”, “family” : “Lustig”, “given” : “Robert H.”, “non-dropping-particle” : “”, “parse-names” : false, “suffix” : “” }, { “dropping-particle” : “”, “family” : “Schmidt”, “given” : “Laura A.

That is why it is critical to work on a long-term solution of reducing calories by exercising and eating a balanced diet. In short, it should be the consumers’ mandate to reduce the sugars they consume and lead a healthy life.
If indeed the government is to impose any regulations, then these regulations should be on products’ sugar content labeling. Labeling the amount of sugar found in different foods will go a long way in helping the public make informed choices on the amount of sugar that they consume. Labeling regulations can only be achieved through legislation in the Senate. Also, oversight authorities should always be on the look for those who break laws in regards to proper food sugar content labeling.
The “fat out, sugar in” switch is the greatest trickery of all time. Research has shown that as much as fats are sources of LDLs, sugar is the greatest source of these lipoproteins which are responsible for the abnormal upsurge of lifestyle diseases in the US and other parts of the globe ADDIN CSL_CITATION { “citationItems” : [ { “id” : “ITEM-1”, “itemData” : { “DOI” : “10.1038/482027a”, “ISBN” : “0028-0836”, “ISSN” : “00280836”, “PMID” : “22297952”, “abstract” : “u25cf Sugar consumption is linked to a rise in non-communicable disease u25cf Sugaru2019s effects on the body can be similar to those of alcohol u25cf Regulation could include tax, limiting sales during school hours and placing age limits on purchase.”, “author” : [ { “dropping-particle” : “”, “family” : “Lustig”, “given” : “Robert H.”, “non-dropping-particle” : “”, “parse-names” : false, “suffix” : “” }, { “dropping-particle” : “”, “family” : “Schmidt”, “given” : “Laura A.”, “non-dropping-particle” : “”, “parse-names” : false, “suffix” : “” }, { “dropping-particle” : “”, “family” : “Brindis”, “given” : “Claire D.”, “non-dropping-particle” : “”, “parse-names” : false, “suffix” : “” } ], “container-title” : “Nature”, “id” : “ITEM-1”, “issue” : “7383”, “issued” : { “date-parts” : [ [ “2012” ] ] }, “page” : “27-29”, “title” : “Public health: The toxic truth about sugar”, “type” : “article”, “volume” : “482” }, “uris” : [ “http://www.mendeley.com/documents/?uuid=897114eb-8c14-447d-982e-552e6e039562” ] } ], “mendeley” : { “formattedCitation” : “(Lustig et al.)”, “manualFormatting” : “(Lustig et al. 29)”, “plainTextFormattedCitation” : “(Lustig et al.)”, “previouslyFormattedCitation” : “(Lustig et al.)” }, “properties” : { }, “schema” : “https://github.com/citation-style-language/schema/raw/master/csl-citation.json” }(steinway135).

To be honest, I hate writing. That’s why when my professor assigned me with coursework, I just took the easy way out and hired AnyCustomWriting to assist me. I’m absolutely satisfied with the result, no flaws.
