In the United States, there exists a positive deviation in population for both female and male genders. According to the 2010 population census, the increase in the population of males was of a higher rate than that of the females. Regarding the age group, the majority of the Americans are in the age group of 18 and 44 years (Howden and Meyer 2). This is the group of the young adults and the mature adults. This trend is realized in both the census of 2000 and 2010. However, the old age growth rate is higher than the growth rate of the young ones. On the other hand, at old age, the population of females is larger than that of the males. The majority age of the American population in 2000 was at 40 years while in 2010 it was experienced at the age of 50 years. Finally, the significant increase in the age when comparing the 2000 and the 2010 census was between the age of 65 and 100 years (Howden and Meyer 5).
The Cal Poly Pomona has approximately 23,731 undergraduate students. Out of these undergraduate students, 4,204 of them are freshmen who are in the institution for the first time. And in most cases, the freshmen in the campus have approximately 3.45 Grade Point Average in their high schools. The classes of the undergraduate are averagely 35 students each. The number of graduate students in the institution is 1,595 with approximately 16 students per class. Most of the undergraduates are registered in the engineering course with a population of 5,521 while the least registered course in undergraduate is university programs with 400 students (“Facts & Figures” Np).
Wait! HW 1 paper is just an example!
