Introduction
With a plan to introduce iPhone 8 in the market it is important not to put the product into the shops and create a hope that it will sell best. Therefore, there is a need for a strategic marketing as well as advertisement. Marketing should be not only during the product launch but also throughout its development cycle (Erdogmus and Cicekb, 2012). Marketing of iPhone 8 product in all the major cycle of product development is imperative as it enables the product to maintain its relevancy to the market. In the four stages of a product lifecycle; introduction, growth, maturity and decline there is a need for effective marketing of its product through people, product, promotion, and price. It is good to note that only a few companies make it through all the cycles (Peterson, 2011).
Introduction phase
Introducing iPhone 8 in the market will require innovation. The first adopters of the product need awareness on how the product works and how it is different with the previous iPhone 7 which they might have been using. On the other hand, to introduce this product successfully, it requires both commercial and print campaign for the word to reach masses. The commercial advertisement will require the use of social media such as face book and what’s app to reach the young generation who will be the potential target customers in this product.
The iPhone 8 in its introduction phase will also require promotions through road shows.

Wait! I Phone 8 paper is just an example!

Knowing the price of the product well before hand will be a reasonable price to enable the product to penetrate the market.
Growth phase
In 10 years time, the device expectation is to have hit more than 600 million customers throughout the world. This will be possible by captivating on the advertisement of the device as well as matching in online retail user experience. In general, the growth phase of the product will be more of increasing the market share as well as pushing both inbound and outbound marketing strategies.
Maturity Phase
In this phase, the product expectation is to have created a huge success. The product should be well prepared to be able to compete with emerging products from other companies. In this case, innovation will be very imperative to ensure the product still is relevant to the market. In this stage, also, the product expectation is to have adjusted to accommodate the ones who were not able to buy the product earlier.
Decline phase
The declining phase will be a good opportunity for creators of the product to create new buyers. It will combine innovations on the usage of the device, redesigning of the device and some changes will accompany the stage. These changes will act as a gateway to introduce a new device, for example, iphone 9. The decline stage will take an evaluation of the marketing mix and strategies used in other stages of development to know their weaknesses and strengths as the company prepares to introduce a new device into the markets.
How to make iPhone 8 different from iPhone 7
As compared to iphone7, the new iPhone 8 will contain all-glass design and wireless charging. The current iPhone 7 is not completely made of glasses, and its charging requires a wire. The device will also have a finger sensor; touch ID fingerprint and front camera. Unlike iPhone7, the device display will be alongside the upgraded one.
