INTRODUCTION
Day by day the world population multiplies at an accelerated pace, for this reason agriculture faces a great challenge that is to meet the food needs in quality and quantity, taking full advantage of the agricultural areas and technology that you have today inday, because with the same agricultural area, a greater number of people must be feed. (PROCCYT, 2015)
Agriculture is the basis of food security, export income and rural development almost in all developing countries. FAO estimates that agriculture remains the only source of income of around 70 percent of the world’s rural population of the world, whose majority are small farmers. The subsistence means of millions of people on the planet depend on agriculture, directly or indirectly. (Koehle, S.F.)
Agriculture with the passing of time and technology has been gradually evolving, so it canImportance that has the preservation and care of each of the foods that go directly to the final consumer; For this, it is also important to consider that Agriculture being the indispensable food chain for human consumption, the pricing relationship before the great need must always be evaluated by the farmer when they preserve and care for such food.
DEVELOPMENT OF THE TOPIC
Since the beginning of agriculture about 10.000 years, weeds have been seen as an enemy by farmers since they reduce production. It is currently estimated that between 8.
Wait! Importance Of Crop Protection: Pesticide Syndrome paper is just an example!
000 and 10.000 species in the world are considered weeds, producing more than 10% of world harvest losses and an expense in phytosanitary products of about 18.000 million euros. On the other hand, the conservation of biodiversity and climate change are important issues today and will be key factors in the immediate future for the development of agriculture. (CSIC, S.F.)
Today’s agriculture became more complex. Climate unpredictability, pest control and resistant weeds, seed quality, the evolution of market prices and the shortage of natural resources are challenges that we assume as part of our commitment to continue creating innovative solutions for farmers. Now we have a broader portfolio to increase the performance and profitability of its crops. From seeds, innovative chemical and biological solutions for crop protection to plant and soil health products. (BASF, S.F.)
Crop protection is a primary aspect within their productivity. Greenhouse plastics are quality tools that cannot be missing when you need to protect any type of plantation. The protection characteristics with greenhouse meshes of its crops guarantee a armored environment, an air temperature and upper soil in addition to the crops will not be affected by the cold winds. (Agropinos, 2012)
Nowadays, agricultural producers are very clear about the importance of soil conservation to have the optimal land conditions that allow them the best plantation and therefore have been developing different techniques and methods for the care and conservation of these. The need for extensive productions and the high demand for human consumption food have motivated the development of these methods (shared, 2017)
Once techniques and structures have been implemented to protect crop, it is easier to modify and control environmental conditions to provide plants with the best conditions for their development. That is, we can have plants in their optimal conditions, which is one of the necessary points to maximize production. (Axayacatl, 2019) The issue of care for a crop is complex since there are various pests, weeds, among others that can affect our plantation, so we farmers must have care methods for good production.
Practical tips for the conservation of farmland:
- Performs a soil analysis to determine its physical-chemical composition.
- Apply the dose of fertilizer or organic fertilizer.
- Reduce the use of machinery and animal overload to avoid soil compaction.
- Rota crops combining grasses with legumes.
- Use organic matter as fertilizer for your soil.
- Perform the necessary.
- Sow in stripes.
- Sow live fences around your plot.
- Practice conservation tillage.
- Tecnify irrigation is important to control the quality and quantity of water. (Shared, 2017)
Pesticide syndrome
Pesticides or domestic pesticides are poisons that are used to kill pests such as cockroaches, flies, ants, moths, fleas, aphids and lice, that is, pests that occur inside our homes, workplaces, garden and canaffect both people and pets. These products on many occasions eliminate the plague, but after continuous and excessive use they become resistant to substances, forcing us to make more applications or to use other more toxic pesticides. (Olca.Cl, s.F.)
The MIP began to form from the 1970s, as a result of searching control options to avoid or reduce the growing problems derived from the continuous and systematic use of insecticides. Frequently the use of pesticides has been linked to the intensification of agriculture through monocultures. This agricultural system displaces vegetation, natural, promotes the intensive use of agrochemicals and sharpens pests problems. All of the above triggers ecological disorders that lead to the system towards collapse (Victor, S.F.)
The use of pesticides is multiple and varied. Agriculture is the activity that most uses this type of compound, consuming up to 85 % of world production, in order to maintain control over pests that affect crops. 10 % of the total production of pesticides is used in public health for the control of vector -transmitted diseases, such as malaria, dengue, Chagas disease, among others;rodent control, etc.
Environmental pollution by pesticides is mainly given by direct applications in agricultural crops, inappropriate container tanks, leaks in storage deposits and waste discharged and arranged in the soil, accidental spills, the inappropriate use of them by thepopulation, which are frequently used to contain water and food in homes in the absence of the adverse effects that cause health. The union of these factors causes their distribution in nature. (Rodriguez, 2014). The use of this pesticide is very favorable in the pests of the crops since it directly eliminates the pests, but important factors such as the environment can be contaminated by this product if it is used in excess, so it is always good to haveadequate control for good care of a crop so that it in turn has a good production.
Personal analysis
Crops in general are very important factors in the human being since they are of personal and frequent consumption, in these times several factors and methods have already been developed for good cultivation care, with the technology updates it becomes easier for usPerforming these prevention, we always have to take into account that good care is good development and good production at the end of the crop, we also have to make a budget that does not come against us economically but that does not go against the consumer andWhen the bought the product is satisfied. A product in good condition, in reasonable price and as organic as possible always attracts the attention of the person who will consume and that makes a business more profitable.
Pesticides are pesticides that serve for the control of pests and care of a crop, but it is time to take a story that if we use excess pesticide it can be harmful for both plantations and the person who applies it, this method of pest controlIt is very effective when it is not used frequently since if the pests are frequently used, they begin to make immune and continue to come out and farmers in view of that begin to use other methods for control which becomes more stressfulFor the plant and can get all the crop to lose.
