Inclusive Education: Education for All

In the first place and as an introduction to the subject, a definition of inclusive education that I have extracted after reading the texts is one that educates in the difference, without this being a problem, without also denying it, thus avoiding the exclusion of the educational systemfrom students and according to the individual needs of each. As an example, because a girl with intellectual disabilities cannot have an education equal to the same as the rest of her classmates in the same center. This is what responds and guarantee inclusive education.

Once addressed and introduced, which implies inclusive education, the main reflections that I have drawn on it are:

  1. Public administrations should give it a greater impulse, thus traveling from the integration to inclusion. This would be achieved with greater public investment, a greater endowment in teachers, psychopedagogues, counselors …, better educational infrastructure …
  2. Teachers, students, parents, that is, all members of the educational community must normalize inclusion in classrooms, that is, not see diversity as a problem, but as an opportunity. In short, a school for all.
  3. In line with the above, a greater conviction of teachers about it is needed. These should include diversity more in their teaching, thus enriching everyone’s learning would be enriched.
  4. Education is a right, so that every person has to be educated in equal opportunities, guaranteeing everyone, whatever their disability, schooling, learning and degree.

Wait! Inclusive Education: Education For All paper is just an example!

    That is, eliminate barriers.

  5. It is necessary to raise awareness and sensitize society on diversity, and therefore of the needs within the classroom of each student that integrates it. Make known that inclusive education is a right and give it the recognition and value it deserves.

In conclusion, one of the greatest challenges, but the greatest of the future of our education, is to educate from diversity. If the whole society eliminates certain prejudices, and is sensitized that we must educate from the differences of each one;And the rulers commit themselves to their impulse and normalization, we will all win, and therefore we will make our educational system more competent and higher quality; And that our society is more fair, richer in values, more egalitarian, ultimately, is better.
