The Difference between the Clinician and Patient Interviewing Techniques

The Significance of the Interview and Communication Techniques
The interviewing technique employed in this case is known as a health promotion interview. The interview seeks to establish baseline data regarding the patient’s past and current health issues as well as evaluate the current health risk factors for CVD illness like smoking (Lindh, 2006). The technique also allows the clinician to keenly set the stage for an actual interaction through the first question.
