The supply chain is responsible for carrying out all the activities and processes associated with the flow and the transformation of products, it begins from the development of raw materials until the arrival of the final product to the consumer, from that moment the process endedand the responsibility of each of the organizations involved in the transformation of the product. 

Usually organizations worked on each of their processes with the sole objective of guaranteeing the best quality in terms of time and cost to meet that need, but do not mediate the environmental impact they were generating due to the lack of social responsibility in the use in the useof natural resources for the production of innovative products for their bidder markets, as there are control rules for environmental protection, which organizations tried to evade this type of law regardless of the consequences that were causing.

However, reverse logistics is one of the most important factors for the production of a product, but some organizations do not see the importance of implementing this new factor, for them it is more important to plan the logistics of all its processes from all its phases,But reverse logistics is usually highlighted as an expense within the organization but not as a competitive strategy.

Organizations see more reverse logistics and their processes as an expense, but if they plan the implementation of a strategy to contribute to the environment, it will not be seen that way, if non -operational income cannot be generated to the organization contributing to a small marginMonetary, but achieving this benefit is necessary the planning and alignment of the objectives of each organization that are visualized in reverse logistics. 

The implementation of reverse logistics is something complex, different parameters must be determined as it is: 

  • The capacity of the organization, identifying the raw materials that are used for production that may affect the environment and possible change alternatives. 
  • carry a thorough control and diagnosis of each of the stages of the process.
  • The classification of the waste refers to the danger and care that must be used for management, it should be noted that this point is the most important here it is determined if they are directed to the landfill, the incineration or if they are recycled.
