Legislators
Legislation in healthcare is the arm that regulates all the activities and events within the sector. This includes a wide array of subjects such as the financing of healthcare, individual entitlement to health and the nature of medication (“Legislative Health Care Workforce Commission”, 2018). The nature of medication can include the types of medicines and procedures that are allowed, what must be covered by national insurance schemes and what must be availed to the citizens even without payment. As the legislative body, this sector interacts with all the other bodies whenever legal issues arise in healthcare. An example of a legislative body in the US healthcare is Legislative Coordinating Commission (LCC) (“Legislative Health Care Workforce Commission”, 2018).
Executives and bureaucrats
Executives and bureaucracies in healthcare represent the leadership of the healthcare system (“The Federal Executive & Bureaucratic Agencies in Health Care Regulation “, 2018). The Role of the institutions in this segment is to administer the process of the healthcare system. They are responsible for linking all the stakeholders in the healthcare system such as patients, physicians, financing institutions and the legislators. Specific examples include coordination of medical research, ensuring care for low-income families, caring for children and the elderly among other roles. An example of an executive and bureaucratic body is the Health and Human Services Department (“The Federal Executive & Bureaucratic Agencies in Health Care Regulation “, 2018).

This segment interacts with all elements of healthcare as necessary since it is the focal point of healthcare services.
The judiciary
The judiciary arbitrates all cases within the country. All the rules and regulations that are formulated by the legislature form part of the constitutions that is then interpreted by the judiciary. Majority of the interactions between the judiciary and other facets of healthcare happen when there is a legal conflict. Such conflicts include cases of maltreatment within healthcare institutions, breach of confidentiality, fraud and critical life decisions such as euthanasia. All the courts within the country represent the judiciary and ay party that has been wronged can file a case with them.
Individuals
The individuals are the people who serve or receive services within the healthcare institutions. The individuals include the physicians. These attend to the patient’s and participate in research to improve healthcare services. Their role in healthcare is to research, formulate diagnoses and prescribe treatment options. Patients are the clientele for the healthcare system. They are the sole reason for the existence of healthcare and therefore the chief aim is to care for their welfare. The role of the patient is to contribute to the system through paying for the services received. The individuals interact with each other in various capacities such as a physician to patient relationships.
Organizations
Organizations vary broadly in healthcare. Organizations can be part of the legislative, financial, healthcare provision or pharmaceutical departments in healthcare. An example of an organization in healthcare is Gilead which is a pharmaceutical organization. The role of this organization is to ensure that quality and standard drugs are produced for the public. It also contributes to research that can lead to improved drugs for healthcare. Each of the organizations in healthcare has varied roles depending on the industry from which they operate.
Interest groups
Interest groups are often non-governmental and nonprofit organizations aiming to agitate for change in a particular section of healthcare (“The Voter’s Self Defense System”, 2018). Their role is usually advocacy on healthcare related human rights situations. Special interests groups in the US especially involve such issues as drug use and rehabilitation, abortion services and environmental concerns. The basis of these groups is that health in a condition that is determined by an array of interacting factors and hence the need to keep all these factors together. An example of these is National Association for Addiction Professionals (“The Voter’s Self Defense System”, 2018).
